Life: Oh... Gee...

Cleveland Wildlife Park in Adelaide. I know I have been late in updating to everything. School has started. Things are going ok. Trying to juggle everything in life, school, personal and social. I guess. Anyway, I think I won't be able to keep this up for long 'cus I keep coming home late and too tired to do anything... I try to keep it up... Will see... Might abandon this soon...

Life: Busy, Busy, Busy

Took this on the plane coming here. Quite nice uh! The sun is rising here. Thought this was nice, but taking it on the plane is quite difficult 'cus it never quite ended up the way I wanted it.

Been real busy. Busy with organising my study plan. Busy with hanging out with friends. Busy with going out with friends tonight clubbing. As well as going out to the Cleland Wildlife park the next day. Hope I can survive. I WILL SURVIVE...

Me and Flinders

Well, even though I haven't really started school. I am starting to get tired like almost everyday. Today I went out with Sylvia (the one in the middle) and Gemma (the One on the left) to Salsa dancing (which I realise that a good leader makes me dance better). Then we went to flash dancing (which different then what it sounds, is basically like dancing to cheap music, eg old britney and backstreet boys). Then we went around town. Which made my legs absolutely in pain... lol...

It was good fun and some quality time. Hope to do this again. Which apparently is on Sat, which the whole bunch of us are going out! Hope I can make it, 'cus the same day I have the zoo tour... busy busy busy...

Life: Hum... How Long Can I Do This?

When I saw this picture as I was strolling through my pictures, it reminded me of home.

Went to see "Valentine's Day" today with Gemma (girl from England) and Slyvia (girl from New Guinea). It was good. Very heart warming and sweet and cute. It also included a gay couple. How sweet.

This blog is taking it's toll on me. I'm finding harder and harder to find good pictures to paste on (most of the time I'm just not bothered to look for them). Also, most of the time I'm just too tired after a whole day of going out. sigh...

Dad is pushing on paying the rest of the money to Adrian, which I haven't got the time for. What should I do? I need to do it soon 'cus I don't like to lie to my parents. Tomorrow probably, since I won't be doing anything tomorrow.

Thoughts: Picture Of The House

Picture of the house I'm living in... Looks great uh? It is actually really quite old... but its nice though. Quaint.

Today has been kinda hectic but fun though. Met lots of friends and a mate who studied nursing, graduate entry. Right after that, I went shopping and got somethings on the last minute. Got the adapter! yay!

The people are real nice. I think that I'vent been talking English for so long that I stammer when I get nervous. but I think that goes the same for both my languages. shrug...

Life: Touchdown in Aussie

Took this in China. Ain't that great but oh well...

I am actually writing this on the porch of the house. It feels wonderful here. Slight breeze. Great temperature, not too hot, not to cold. Great ppl. Angel is great. Supports wonderful tattoos and probably smokes. Cedirc (the french dude) has a master degree in snail study?

Met a real un-talkative seat mate on the plane. Wish that this dude who helped a helpless women with her luggage was sitting next to me... lol... Also saw this cute Korean in KLIA. lol... Anywayz... probably come on again later to talk about my day in Flinders.

Thoughts: Last Day Before Leaving for The Down Under

Wonder whether I've put up this picture before... anyway, taken in China after a show... Great show... I actually wanted to take pictures of couple of kids from the show but I missed them... Oh well...

Tonight is ganna be the last night in this room before taking off to Australia. I really hope that I did not miss anything or mess anything up... sigh... I worry a lot whenever I'm leaving for a place. Always thinking whether I've missed anything and stuff... In the end, it always ends up ok...

Well... I really hope that everything goes well and... well... good luck to myself!

Today my aunt, my mum's sister, came to visit.
A old friend of my parents visited too.
A friend of my mum's visited mum and dad went out to see his friend.
I watched more anime... and I'm suppose to get ready for Australia... I'll do it tomorrow... can't be bothered... lol...

Life: Chinese Revelation!?

Year of the lion? lol... Took this in Blackpool...

Today is the second day of CNY and couple of things happend...

1st, my uncle, my father's second elder brother, was hospitalised for a tummy ache. We (the family) and one of the doctors suspected appendicitis. However, as my uncle was place in a ward, another doctor examined him and figured that he wasn't in too much pain... Which was weird. Therefore, he is put in over night observation, just in case if anything gets worst.

2nd, it is interesting that my father's family member has all the Chinese horoscope 生肖... cool uh?

3rd, is more interesting. I was to have an aunt, my father's sister. She passed away before I was born. The this is that she wasn't married or had any child before she passed away. So my grandma, dad's mum, thought that she should have one of her sibling's child as her own... in a way... Back then, my dad's older brother's children are too old to be her child. Then my dad's two other older brothers weren't married and of course no child. Then my dad was newly married so my grandma thought that the dying aunt should have one of my dad's child. Grandma suggested my dad's oldest child, however after asking couple of "Gods", it was settled that the second child shall be under the aunt's name. So... erm... spiritually? I'm that aunt's child?... freaky uh?

Thoughts: Chinese New Year (CNY)

Took this on the Scotland trip with my mobile... Took it with my mobile 'cus my mum was using it to take pictures of my dad and brother... I think... Sorta had a fight with her 'cus I wanted to use the camera... In the end, she bought one for me... lol...

I think the main reason why I look forward to CNY so much is mainly because that is the only source of entertainment after being stuck in my home with nothing to do for half the year. Sounds sad uh... sigh... Anyway, being the first day, it was pretty fun... oh, and we went to see a movie, "14 Blades" (锦衣卫) at the end of the day! We're ganna see another one tomorrow, I think...

Also, I thought of writing up another blog... which talks about all the movies I've seen... That would have been interesting... won't it?

Life: Chinese New Year Eve

Picture I took when we (me, Tanya, Ppos, Jay and Stoney) came back from the Blackpool trip (which was a blast) and saw this heart shaped clump of forest and I took a picture of it with my mobile... cute uh?..

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve and we had my mother's sister and her daughter around for a steamboat dinner... Yesterday we (me and my family) went to my mother's godparent's dinner and it was good... especially the lamb chop. Real nice!

Me and New Year Pictures

These are couple of pictures I took as me and mum were driving home the day before yesterday... The day when I said goodbye to the people in the shop.

Today me and mum went shopping around the area where the pictures were taken. I didn't want to go all the way there to take better pictures 'cus that area is pretty messy and unsafe...

Life: Saying Goodbye to the People in Shop

I totally forgot about the existent of this photo which I took in the water fall area in Scotland... I really like it. Couple of days ago I was sorting through the pictures for brother to use, I realised that lots of my good pictures are vertical... dunno why, guess that's my style uh?

Today I get to say goodbye to the people in my aunt's shop as I probably won't see them over the Chinese New Year and probably see them next year... I feel kinda weird saying goodbye... It's... I dunno... as if I weren't the one saying it... Distancing myself... I think...

Anyway... The days are getting closer... and I took a picture of the decoration for the New Year! Will put them on soon!

Life: Ain't nu'in much

Took this in Scotland... Think the sky's too white...

Today din't do much... new years cum'in up... need to select some photo's for brother's video...

Tanya ain't replying... I think I've done as much as I could... The rest is really up to her...

Life: Eating Out With Relative

I remember this one. It was taken is Scotland and I remember that I had the camera and my family was walking in front of me. They wanted the camera but I was trying to get a good picture of this. Think it was ok...

Had a very stuffed dinner with my relative (姑姑and表姐). My aunt and family are leaving for Korea for the Chinese New Year so she wanted to have a good dinner with me before I leave for Australia. It was very nice of her to do so and I had a great time.

Oh... I'm back to animes... oh dear... not sure how to quit it...

Thoughts: American History X

Took this in Scotland, dunno where...

I watched 'American History X' yesterday and personally I think it was ok... Critiques say that it was one of Edward Norton's best, but I think I have seen him better... The whole movie and the storyline was alright... the movie doesn't have dramatic peak which usually happens at the end or middle of the movie...

Don't get me wrong though... I love Edward Norton ever since I saw him in 'Red Dragon', the movie with the three best actors, Anthony Hopkins, Ralph Fiennes and of course Edward Norton. Considering back in 1998 (when American History X was made), it was Edward's second big movie... The acting in considerably good. The movie, I believe was just too... flat.

Life: Sent The Parcel

I think I took this one... again... but most of the time, my dad takes pictures horizontally... vertical pictures are usually mine...

I sent off my parcel of stuff to Australia today... Lucky it was just 20kg, which was the exact amount that we are allowed to bring. They said it should arrive in roughly 1-2 months... Not sure if that's true... anywayz...

The days to when I leave for the great down under are closing up. Hope everything goes well.

Life: Confirmation on Accommodation

I forgot who took this but I think its me. Took it during the Scotland trip with my family before my graduation.

At least I got confirmation on my accommodation. Though I miss AU$18 but I shall pay it back when I get there. After talking to Angel, my house-mate, I am getting pretty nervous as she said that it ain't gonna be that easy. I hope I can cope. Also, I hope that I won't need to buy every recommended books.

I thought of a new product for my clothing line. Called "Simply Fruity". Just the same as the name, it is basically tee-shirts with drawings of fruits on it. The colour of the tee's are of course, based on the fruit (e.g. strawberry, grapes, blueberry, orange, banana and etc...). If possible, the tee-shirts could introduce how good the fruits are (i.e. full of vitamins and fibre). Maybe that would make it look like a walking commercial. Dunno...

Thoughts: On a Book

Picture of my graduation with my family summer of 2009... feels like so long ago... I'm no longer a kid... arg...

I have given lots of thoughts into this and finally I made a conclusion. I will write that story... some how...

This story has been in my head for a long time. Its about a half-vampire which has a witch for her mum. The name of the story/book would be 'Dawn' (kind of like a parody of Twilight). It would contain three titles:
1) Day: which concentrates on her 'teenage' life. Her interaction with normal or abnormal people and her hope of finding someone special.
2) Noon: which concentrates on her childhood and her magic abilities.
3) Night: which talks about her late life. Her life in the 21st century.

Thoughts: And Then There Were None

These are couple of pictures I took as I was bored. The first two is pictures of the flowers my mum planted. The blue one is a origami of a lily. Pretty bored uh?

I thought that people should make a remake of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" keeping to the original ending. The last movie made of that book was at 1989 named "Ten Little Indian" and vast change to the plot was made. The only movie made according to the original
plot was a russian movie "Desyat Negrityat" at 1987. If Hollywood made a adaptation of that book without computer graphics or what so ever. Depending mostly on the actors, the directing and the plot. That has gotta be a great movie!

Life: Another Buffet with Family

My family and I went to a buffet dinner at Parkcity Hotel and had a great time. I took my camera with my 'cus my mum wanted to take picture of us as a whole family. However, as events turn out, my brother had to leave first. Leaving me and my parents. Therefore, at the end my dad took picture of me and my mum. The picture below is of a half eaten cookie.

Tonight is kinda special 'cus it is meant to be kinda a 'good luck' dinner for me and a birthday dinner for my mum, which I totally forgot until now... Anyways... I had a great time.

Life: Possiblity in Accommodation

Took them in Leeds, again... We went to a farm where our host work as volunteers. We get to feed them for free... which was so kind of them.

There exist a possibility of me finally getting an accommodation, with what appears to be a Dutch. Also the house mates of mine are of vast nationality. Singaporean, French, New Guinea and English... Which is wonderful news... I just hope that everything works out!

Life: News From Accommodation and Laptop Back

Taken in Leeds again... The sign post leads to where we saw the cliff and the vast greenery.

News from private accommodation as in that there are good available housings around the university. I think I have a confirmed accommodation and I need to tell Miss Yii that the accommodation is settled...

Got my laptop back.... I think they changed my screen... seemed different then the old one...

Life: Update on Everything

Taken in Leeds... Without doubt...

Ok, first thing first, my laptop is fixed and I'm ganna get it tomorrow.

Then I had several replies on the search for accommodation in Adelaide, which is good news. I am yet to hear any reply from Flinders Housing... so... Dad is deciding on whether to let me live in the ones in city centre... the main problem is transport...

Tonight I might talk to Wendy... won't know how it goes 'cus the internet is plenty crappy...

Life: Accommodation in Flinders Giving Me a Headache

Not sure whether I posted this up before... pretty sure no... Anyway, taken in Leeds again... I like it 'cus of the blue sky... keke...

Currently, the Flinders' Housing has yet to offer an official reply stating that they have or have no accommodations left. However, it is getting closer and closer to the date when I am to leave for Australia. Therefore me and my parents are trying everything to get at least an accommodation for me to live in. This includes getting off campus accommodations and probably city centre flats (which means I am to travel 1/2hr transport).

Both me and my parents are getting frustrated with the Australian system and also very disappointed with it. They could have informed us earlier whether we will get an accommodation so late (or beginning) into the year. Then we will have enough time to react to the situation.

Oh well... I'm suppose to write up an e-mail to the Flinders Housing people... Sigh...

Life: Singing Last Night

This is a picture I took on my Leeds' trip. In the cannon/valley which I don't remember the name.

As the title suggest, me and my brother went out karaoking yesterday night, that is why I did not update the blog yesterday, thus missing two days of blogging.

I bought the "Fantastic Mr. Fox" movie... Hope it's nice 'cus I'm ganna watch it tonight.

I thought of a movie... More like a parody of all the 'superhero' movies nowadays... It involves
- a captain with the power of electricity with a bad fashion taste ( leading to the rest of the members wearing really bad 'suits'...)
- a mind reader/controller who have agoraphobia(fear of people or crowds)
- a telekinesis who is blind
- a flyer who is afraid of heights

Made it up thinking that it would be fun... lol...

Thoughts: Nothing Much... Again.

Just like the title mentioned... nothing much today... sigh...

I thought of the TV series I made up last time... I figured that it should be quite boring if the story wasn't written well...

Brother is singing at the top of his lungs again...

Hooked back on Law and Order: CI, one of the best TV series I've seen so far...

Thoughts: New TV Series?

Two sheep (no 's') in Leeds, they were so close to the car that we could get real close to take pictures of them. However, as we stoped the car to get out and take pictures of them, they kinda shun away from us. So I had to zoom to get a good picture of them... so cute...

I thought of a new TV series... I came up quite suddenly... Guess it could be a cross between "Pushing Daisies" and "Ghost Whisperer". It started as a line came into my head "I face death, everyday. You can guess I'm a mortician or a homocide detective, but that would just be too good to be true. No, I am just a caretaker of a gravesite."

The storyline is something like a gravesite was left for the main character though family business, or something like that. Then one day, she was caught in an accident and dies. Suddenly brought back to life by a so-call angel, who actually not suppose to let her die but still did. She then started to be able to see or talk to the dead. Thus, having to work at the gravesite, she also has a side job as a grieve counselor (same job as the angel in human world).

It shouldn't be as dark as the "Ghost Whisperer" or as light as "Pushing Daisies". The main character is kinda dark (i.e. listens to metel rock and wears dark clothing) but she keeps postitive attitudes at all time and keeps the grieving less... grieving...

Dunno how it sounds... Boring?

Me and Waterfalls?

Dunno what to put on so here... a picture of the waterfall in Leeds...

Nothing much today... Didn't go out 'cus dad's gone to KL. Finished the painting that dad wanted... Going to shop to work tomorrow...

Life: Came Back from Visiting Grandma

Surprisingly I still managed to find a couple of Leeds' photographs in my old laptop... Love this picture 'cus it shows the girls and the hosts having fun... Sam realised what I was doing so she's laughing at the camera...

The trip to visiting grandma wasn't that bad... Maybe I imagined too much... But anyways... I still managed to entertain myself through my book and TV. I feel much better too... after visiting grandma 'cus if I didn't, it would be disrespectful. Got lots of pocket money too... lol... that is not the only reason I visited grandma.

Here I would like to wish that she lives as long as possible and lives happly...

note: I'm hooked back to NCIS... skipping couple of unentertaining episodes...

Life: Sent Computer to be Fixed

I don't have any pictures to be put up as I just sent my computer to be fixed... Its ganna take 2-3 bloody weeks... my gosh...

oh well... I'll be going to my aunt's place in Sibu tomorrow so... will keep up the update when I come back... Which will be on Sunday... Hope I survive...

Thoughts: Very Annoyed With Luggage and Accommodation

Took this in Leeds... As I was thinking about my accommodation and scrolling through my picture vault... I thought, won't it be nice if I could live in some place like this.

My dad started questioning about my accommodation and plans on my baggages... I told him that I dunno what to do and will contact Miss Yii about the accommodation. Then they (my parents) agreed with me that probably sending my luggage through air flight is the best plan as my accommodation is going to take a long time to settle and till then, I won't know the address. Will write to Miss Yii now and look into the baggage company on how much the shipping fee is going to cost.

Life: Driving on the Road

I wanted to talk about the driving I did today and this is the picture I thought of. I took it as I was going back to my accommodation and saw this unique looking cab. Great, isn't it?

Anyways... Dad took me on the road today and my engine died a couple of times. Sigh... I was so desperate at one point where the engine died at a traffic light. I started getting depressed and pessimistic which I told my dad that you shouldn't have let me drive... Lots of cars were honking behind me... sigh... Hope I would get better... Realising that nothing works perfectly on the first time and lots of practice is needed.

Thoughts: Stargate Universe

This picture I took in Leeds with Samantha... Funny... Well, what I wanted was someone to take a picture of me and the tree. Then Sam decided to barge into my picture... thus ending up with this hilarious picture...

Started on Stargate Universe and found myself to like it a lot. Robert Carlyle, the actor who plays Nicholas Rush in the TV series also acted in "28 Weeks Later" and a very old but famous movie "The Full Monty". Everett Young played by Justin Louis is the actor who played Jigsaw's protege Art in "Saw". They were both excellent actors and the other actors weren't that shabby. Which puts Stargate Atlantis way behind. This is probably another TV series that I would look forward to. Hope the quality stands up.

Life: Visiting Grandma

This was a picture taken during my Leeds HOST trip. This picture was taken by Jiyoung I think. With Marie. That was one of the best time I had.

As Chinese New Year is closing in and my date of leaving to Australia is closing in too, my family starts pushing me to go to visit my grandma in Sibu and I am to travel alone. My brother said that its time for me to grow up and start considering how my parents feel when I was reluctant to go. It is not that I'm inconsiderate, its just that I'm reluctant. Okay, maybe I am being a little childish and irresponsible, but I just don't really feel like going there. It is going to be so... awkward. I guess I better suck it in and head for it. I'll be leaving on the 15th...

Thoughts: Leaving Next Month

This is a picture I took of the Newcastle airport and the reception by the University of Sunderland. I remembered that we (me & dad) went there by bus along with the other Sunderland students who arrived that day. I still remembered my astonishment when I arrived at The Precinct (I remembered that I had a hard time spelling the name...). Can't believe that it was three years ago. Felt like it was only yesterday.

I'm still a bit nervous about going away, though I've been doing that for three years. It felt like time pass by so... fast. I kinda look forward to it and also I felt that I didn't wanna leave this place.

Accommodation still isn't fixed and my laptop is still flashing! What am I suppose to do?... sigh...

Life: Two Movies in a Row with Family

I took this picture when I was in UK during my graduation trip with my family. It looks a lot like the skull church in Barcelona, Spain...

Today I went to the cinema with my family to watch Sherlock Holmes and Bodyguards & Assassins (十月围城). I liked 十月围城 better because of the actors... each and everyone of the actors were excellent, most of all the father 李玉堂. His acting was exceptional. As for Sherlock Holmes. It wasn't that great because Guy Richie changed the character a lot and he's previous films were much better. Robert Downy Jr. was still great. Loved him and Jude Law in this film.

My mum was a bit of a screamer in the cinema... Told her to stop it and was told off by my brother... saying that I shouldn't do that for different people handle these situations differently then I do...

The bloody screen is still flashing and no idea when it will get fixed... Also waiting for the quotation from the baggage company... How long should I wait?

Thoughts: What Will 2010 Bring for Me?

This was a picture taken of my brother trying to be funny, looking up the kilt. Taken in Scotland.

Today is officially 2010. I dunno what this year holds for me... I have many places to explore. Firstly, I will be getting my 'P' license tomorrow. Then I will be going to Australia. New subject, new environment, new life. I guess you can say that I'm a bit scared and you could say that I'm a bit excited too! Will see how things go as the year goes along!

Also, I hope that I would be able to keep this going.
