Life: New Year

These are couple of the pictures I took of the paper stars that I made. Took me a long time to get it perfect... but these looked cool.

I went on HP and talked to some of the technician about the bloody flashing of the screen and they said that it need to be submitted for fixing... and the people I talked to are actually US ppl... I feel so embarrassed to ask such things from people who are so far away.

Today is new years eve, in a couple of hour, it would be new years. 2010... what does it hold for me?

Thoughts: Greener With the Scenery

Dunno why I chose this title... The title of The Used song "Greener With the Scenery" just popped into my head as I was thinking what picture I should post on... Then I thought of some picture which is green, then I thought of this title... Weird uh? How my brain works...

Thoughts: Stargate franchise

I'm not sure whether I posted this picture on but anywayz... I like it, except that it is not of good quality...

These couple of days... nothing much... that's why I didn't blog anything.

Kinda attached to the Stargate Atlantis... I like most of the characters there... They all are relatively good and I like to see how things evolve...

Looking forward to the NCIS:LA on AXN soon...

Plus my computer has this flashing line at the bottom of the screen... If it doesn't solve itself in a couple of days... I think I'm ganna get it fixed...

Talked to Tanya yesterday... Probably ganna talk to her tonight... will see how it goes...

Life: House Cleaning

This was a picture taken of us during our Leeds visit. It was during our last breakfast together. I think that I should be slowly putting up my Leeds pictures 'cus blog takes a long time to load pictures.

Today we (me + mum) did a little spring cleaning. It was tiring but kinda nice 'cus I getta help my mum with the house before CNY, which I hadn't spent with my family for 3 yrs...

Also, new trouble arises as me and my parents talk about moving to Australia, and without knowing my new place, there is no way I can start sending things over... Unless I use a storage company.

Thoughts: hump... What should I think about...

Celebrating the festive season... I went through my old pictures and drag this one out... Think it was taken couple of years ago in "The Bridge" a local shopping mall in Sunderland. Thought is is rather interesting and funny...

Today brother left for Sibu and hope that everything goes well for him... Today also went to a relative's birthday party...

That made me think... Hum... What should I write for my blog? lol...

Life: Pass the Driving Exam!!!

This was a picture I took in Scotland for my family... It's printed out and placed in my parent's photo album... I like it 'cus its "artistic" and family portrait... keke...

I passed the driving test!!!! I almost failed at the "bukit" 'cus 1st time, I forgot to raise my hand to show that I was ready (that was because the hand brake of my car was too tight and I couldn't release it...) 2nd time, I went to far up the hill and asked whether I could try again... and the JPJ (examiner) said or rather scolded that I cannot back up and stop... I must go down hill and try again... which was what I planned to do... before he scolded me... then the 3rd time I passed... Hd no problem with the rest as my instructor already taught me a lot...

Today was also Michelle Tan's wedding... This thought came into my head. "Weddings are complicated and elaborate procedures which need not to be followed and ends with the same result." If I put this on facebook... I think Patrina would see and talk that I don't like Michelle's wedding or what ever... Anywayz... just a private thought... I do not think weddings are necessary... It all really depends on the certificate and the heart.

Tomorrow is the retest of my driving exam and Eric (my host in Leeds) contacted me and send me a christmas letter. They are wonderful people and I sincerely hope them have a wonderful time and enjoy themselves.

Life: Uneventful Day

Brother likes this one... dunno why... Don't really like it 'cus of the boat...

Today is rather uneventful. Went out for dinner with aunt (小姑)... That's pretty much it...

Had more ideas in my head for stories... Just dunno when to write it out... Hump... I think I should finish my xxxholic fan fiction...

This drawing took me ages... I took so long 'cus not only it was real complicated, I also took lots of time perfecting it... I dun look so nice close up but it looked pretty good on the camera... lets see what others think when I put it on facebook.

Life: Photography Competition on Sinchew

There is this photography competition on Sinchew in which we submit our best holiday pics and get picked to be their calender photograph. I submitted this photo 'cus I think it is most unique and quite well taken... I think... I'm telling myself that I won't mind if it were not chosen... but of course I want mine to be picked... Oh well... lets hope for the best! as well as for my driving...

Life: Failed Driving Test

This I made out of "blue" tac dyed with red, so it turned out pink. Cute?

Today I had the driving lesson. Today I failed. Tomorrow I rest. Next week I try again.

Some of the people I met there passed except for me. I was just hopeless at the three point turn (L parking). I failed there and passed everywhere else. I thought I was ganna pass when I did a perfect mountain pass, and S-curve parking. I also passed the road test. I will do better next time and ACTUALLY listen to my instructor's INSTRUCTIONS. Sigh...

The baggage is yet to arrive. Will call if it don't arrive tomorrow, just dunno when...

Life: Finally, News From Luggage!

This picture is taken during the Scotland trip before my graduation with my family. At that time, it looked great on the camera, but now it just look crappy... The sky's too white.

Two news, I will be testing my driving skills tomorrow and I received news from my luggage... yay! Said that I should arrive in Miri tomorrow or the day after... Once I got it, I'm just ganna shove it into the storage room... Joking... I need to clear some things out. E.G. winter/thick clothings and maybe the pot... Its rusted...

Tomorrow is the driving test... Wish me luck... Sigh... I hope I pass...

Life: Sending off Aunt Regina and Karaoke

I took this photo as we visited the zoo in Blackpool during our "graduation trip" with Tanya and gang. I like this 'cus it looks like the little giraffe is looking out of a "window"... so cute...

I didn't get a chance to post up anything yesterday because I was busy dinning and talking with Aunt Regina and family till 10pm. Then me and brother went to karaoke-ing with his friends until 1am. So I got home pretty late and was tired and did not bother to turn on the internet to post up a blog. Didn't miss much anyways.

Will be taking last couple of lessons on Mon and Tues before taking the exam on Wed... Wish me luck...

Life: Brother is Feeling Unwell

Taking about brother, he is feeling sick and unwell. Body pain and fever made me think of H1N1 and Dengue. On asking him, he said he doesn't have sore throat or feeling like throwing up ('cus these are also symptoms of the above disease). I could only put it as having a serious case of tummy flu. Mum's making a great fuss over it... She should...

Thinking of getting sick... I usually get sick when I was in UK, especially when the weather is getting cold/winter. I also get sick when I got back from UK (previous years). I usually have to support a running nose, cough (sometimes period and diarrhoea) to work in Popular book story and does not get to rest until late in the night. Back then, I felt pretty horrible and having to work makes it worst...

Just complaining... Oh and I'm working on a drawing of a flower. Will post it on when I finish.

Life: Auntie Regina Came for Visit

Picture that I took when I was walking back from the lab in Newcastle for my final year project. I saw a lot of people walking in and out of the park so I decided to "drop by". With my phone camera, I took a couple of pictures and are on facebook under "Pleasant Surprise".

Today, Auntie Regina, a old friend of mum and dad's from Oman came for holiday and brought her daughter, Nina, along. She is as beautiful as always. Auntie Regina also brought a hand drawn china for us. It was really quite beautiful. We went to the Apollo Restaurant for dinner and promised to meet up tomorrow for dinner again.

Tomorrow is my trial test for driving and hope that I won't flunk it. Somehow, I got a feeling that my instructor told me to go for the test is so that I would fail and have to pay them for retest. Do I sound mean?...

Joke: Haven't Got the Letter Yet.

Not sure whether i've already posted this picture... Like it 'cus of the sky...

John and David was sitting at the bar.

David said, "Hey John, let me tell you a story."

John said, "Yah sure."

"The story goes like this" said David.

"One day, the old angel asked a younger angel to list down the names of the people who had sinned.

The young angel went away for a week and came back tired and weak, 'Its impossible, it is not possible to list down all the names of the people who had sinned.'

The older angel then said 'think about this through another perspective' with a wink.

The younger angel lit up with a smile and went off to the duty.

After a day, the young angel came back with the list and said 'there you go, this is a list of people who hadn't sinned.' The older angel smiled and handed the list to God.

God then said 'Good, now send all these people a letter.'"

David stopped the story and John pressed on "What next? What's in the letter?"

David looked at John and said "Looks like you haven't receive the letter too."

This is to say that whilst looking at how other people has performed misdeeds and mistakes. Why not take the time to look at oneself and improve.

Thoughts: Uni Housing

The best shot I have of the limestone caves which we visited whilst we were in China. The cave was dark and we did not have much time to stop and observe which position for the best shots.

I was applying for the housing in Flinders. It is f***ing troublesome as I actually have to find people to fill in academic and personal references. What is that? Why would I need those kinds of things for application for housing! Especially the fact that I need to give 35 AUD for application fee! Why would I need that! Now I find application for UK universities are so much easier as I don't need to hand up application fees, for both study and housing!

Anyway, I'll stop complaining and hope that everything goes well. I also hope that I would be able to get a job and apply for PR successfully! Wish me luck!

Life: Brother Gone For Holiday

The picture with the red flower was commented by Tanya 'cus she liked it... I found it ok... I should include the rest and more of the crown and instead of placing the flower in the middle of the picture. If I had more time, I would have taken different angles.

I had just sent brother off to his holiday, I just watched my dad drove him off, didn't send him to the airport 'cus couldn't be bothered... lol... Anyway, I hope that he has fun and would forget 'bout the troubles he had here...

Just painted my nails dark metallic brown... Hope that this fashion would catch up... lol... Now the "hot" colour is black and pastel purple. I like both of them... Thinking of buying white and black nail polish into my collection. I also added a new fragrance into my perfume collection... Bought it for 9.9 chinese dollor, equivalent to roughly RM. 5. Cheap uh?

Life: Been to China & Back

I just came back from the trip to China... Will upload the pictures and talk about the trip later...

I think China has really improved a lot... Though there are still poor people in there but overall... Its quite good... The only thing that spoilt my mood is that they used everything as a business opportunity... I feel quite mad about it 'cus it kinda breaks up the atmosphere... Will talk about that later too...

Now, I just wanna put on some music, tidy my stuff and sleep... All the hotel beds are real hard...
